OK I admit the cover is what convinced me I had to read this book. I mean what an image right?
Well its not just a pretty face because this book was fan-frickin-tastic. Jam packed with emotion, this book really hit the spot with me. It had a sublimely hot hero, a vulnerable heroine, insanely hot sexual chemistry, without the need for over the top graphic sex scenes. An antagonist who's ice cold enough to give anyone frost bite and a storyline that had me wishing I'd pulled a sick day at work.
Zach Hennington, that's him on the cover (Yes I know he's a cover model but let's just say he's Zach), had me swooning before he even made an appearance in this book, but as soon as he arrived on the scene I knew there was no turning back for me. Presley had no chance whatsoever against his charm and the fact that there is a history between the pair made it all the more exciting to read.
Now if Zach isn't enough hotness for you, then there are also two more Hennington men to drool over.
Presley understandably was having a bit of a tough time of it and although she had a hard time seeing the bigger picture in a few things, I found she displayed a strength when most of us would have crumbled. I loved how she was no pushover.
I'm normally not a huge fan of the whole cowboy themed storylines, however this book blew my perceptions out of the park. I loved the fact it's set in a small town in Tennessee. It wasn't clichèd in the slightest, like some cowboy romances can be. In fact there wasn't a single clichè in sight.
This book can be read as a stand alone, however I believe Wyatt Hennington is to be the hero of book 2, so I'm already here waiting with bated breath.
Say You'll Stay is the first book I have read by this author and now I'm already planning to read another one very very soon............Oh and did I mention that Zachary Hennington is H.O.T.

One word.
Stay.
It was all he had to do. Instead, he got on that bus and took my heart with him.
That was seventeen years ago.
I moved on. Marriage. Kids. White picket fence. Everything I ever wanted, but my husband betrayed me and I was left once again.
Alone, penniless, and with two boys, I had no choice but to return to Tennessee. He wasn’t supposed to be there. I should’ve been safe. However, fate has a way of stepping in.
This time around, the tables are turned. It’s my decision. Second chances do exist, but I don’t know if we can repair what’s already been broken . . .
