Review: The Danger of Desire (Sinful Suitors #3) by Sabrina Jeffries

****4 Stars****

Sabrina Jeffries is one of the authors that first made me fall in love with the Regency genre over a decade ago and I still get an excited tingle whenever she releases in a new books. The Danger of Desire, the third book in her Sinful Suitors series keeps up with her tradition of well written regencies containing an engaging romance and intriguing characters.
Warren is asked by his cousin, Clarissa to try and find out what her good friend, Delia is up to. He agrees, since he still feels guilty over what happened to Clarissa. Delia wants absolutely nothing to do with him, but he finds himself instantly intrigued by her and more than a little suspicious. When he follows her and finds her masquerading as a male to get into a notorious gaming hell, he is determined to stop her from whatever game she is playing at. Delia, though refuses to be stopped. She is determined to find the man responsible for her brother's death and this is her best chance at finding the card cheat.
Warren won't leave well enough alone and after Delia confides in him, he convinces her to allow him to help her on this crazy mission of revenge. As the two work together, they find themselves entangled together in a way neither expected or wanted. Dealing with the consequences Delia desperately tries to discover the secrets Warren keeps closely guarded. Soon, her finding the man responsible for her brother's death is not the only mystery causing her sleepless nights. Can these two learn to trust each other and find a love worth fighting for?
I really enjoyed this story. Delia was fabulous. She's outspoken and very entertaining. Warren was a pleasant surprise. He intrigued me in the previous books, but this book totally redeemed him in my eyes! I always fall hard for Rakes with secret hearts of gold. I recommend this to Regency lovers and fans of Sabrina Jeffries.
