Review: Bound Beneath His Pain (Dirty Little Secrets #1) by Stacey Kennedy

*****4.5 Stars*****

If you like your CEO/Millionaire romances then this book could be for you.
It's my first time reading anything by this author and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how engrossed in it I was.
Micah, owner and CEO of Holt Enterprises and employer to Allie, realises he is instantly drawn to her, but can he overcome his dark urges and forge a lasting relationship?
I totally got what Micah saw in Allie. She was his light when all he saw in himself was the dark. She was everything he had never had in a woman before.
There appeared to be a lot of focus on the business aspects, but as this is the first in a series, I expect that those details are needed. If I had to say anything negative about this book and I use the word negative loosely, it would be that some aspects did seem a little repetitive, for example Allie wanting to see the real Micah was repeatedly mentioned at one point. This, however certainly didn't affect the flow or my enjoyment at all.
I honestly couldn't put this book down. The sex scenes were hot, the story line was gripping enough and I for one can't wait for book two, who I'm really hoping is Taylor and Darius' book.
