Review: Distraction (Underground Kings #3) by Aurora Rose Reynolds

*****5 Stars*****

This is the story of Sven and Maggie and yet another great tale from Aurora Rose Reynolds who certainly knows how to write an alpha male and a sassy leading lady.
We do get to meet up with some our old favourites in this book, Kenton and Autumn, Kai and Myla and Justin, even the Mayson's get a mention. I love how Aurora's books are connected, it's like one big family and when reading her books I get to feel like I'm part of that big, crazy family.
Sven is a successful club owner in Vegas, he's a typical manwh*re who uses women for sex and has no interest in making further connections with them. That is until sassy Maggie enters his club and his life. Maggie storms into Sven's club intent on searching out the guy responsible for drugging and beating her sister. Sven marches her out of his club not wanting the trouble she's sure to bring but stubborn Maggie isn't having any of it and keeps returning night after night. And Sven can't help but grow a little amused and fond of her antics, and so to ensure her safety he offers her a job as his assistant to keep her out of trouble.
This book is another unmissable story from Aurora Rose Reynolds, she is one of the authors I find myself recommending the most, her books are guaranteed to entertain. This book can be read as a stand alone but I'd advise any potential readers to go back and read her Until series, then move on to the Underground Kings series, I think you'll get much more enjoyment out of these characters and stories if you read them in order but just make sure you DO read them, these books are not to be missed!

Distraction: The great intensity, novelty, or attractiveness of something other than the object of attention.

Sven is a man who takes pride in his ability to separate himself from his emotions. He's a man who knows who he is and where he’s going in life, a man who needs no one, because needing someone, anyone, is a weakness.

His past taught him love isn’t enough.

Maggie wants the happily ever after, but has never picked the right men, or stuck around long enough, to build a forever. It’s always been easier to get out early, before emotions make things messy.

When Maggie wakes up naked in Sven’s bed, with no memory of the night before, these two must be honest about their feelings and face their fears, so they can build a future together.

Will love be enough for them to get their happy ending together, or will a threat from outside strike them down before they ever have a chance?
