Review: Dawn of Forever (Jack & Jill #3) by Jewel E. Ann

*****5 Stars*****

I wish I could award this series way more than five stars, there will never be enough stars. I have loved every minute and word of this series and the author is firmly on my favourites list. This is the conclusion of a trilogy and you must read the first two books first.
This final instalment delivers punch after punch of gut churning dread as the past finally catches up with Jillian and Jackson in gritty fashion. And the past seems to have been nothing that they thought it was. Jillian is forced to face her darkest moments and learns that her life was even more twisted and littered with lies than she thought. Her life is in danger from a far greater threat than the feared drug cartel’s and the enemy within decides to play their final card but after she walked out on Jackson in temper who will save her.
Jackson is still trying to make sense of his feelings for Ryn and senses his new life is compromised but can he leave Ryn behind? He is forced to face the toughest decisions as the past finally knocks on the door and he realises that Jillian is in danger. My heart broke for Ryn, but I loved that Jackson had built up her confidence enough for her to stand up for herself in facing both her past and her future.
I really don’t want to ruin the story by saying too much but I loved that Jillian’s past came to save her, that the love between her and Luke was too strong for even death to break. And I am so in love with Luke Jones.
A fantastic end to this series that I would gladly read more of, I loved the epilogue, after the white knuckle ride of the last two books it left me smiling so much.
