Review: 501 Ways to Tie a Knot (Has-Been #3) by Kat DeSalle & Kristin Leigh Jones

*****5 Stars*****

I love this series, I love the quirky titles and the background to these characters along with the great humour that runs through these books. So I was really unprepared for the intensity of Levi's story and I absolutely loved it, even more than I already thought I would. The story has a BDSM theme and these two ladies really knocked it out of the park with the majorly hot and intense scenes they created with Levi as the sub.
We catch up with Levi at one of his spa retreats where he has gone to prepare for his stage tour only with Rod in tow things aren't as peaceful as Levi would like. As always I was chuckling by the second page and love that Rod is such a goofball. Levi's prep is thrown into further disarray when Laylah a fellow resident catches his eye though things don't go to plan when Levi finds she brings out a side to him he doesn't understand and he pushes both their limits.
Following an abrupt end to his stay at the retreat Levi begins his showcase submissive tour and I hated seeing him feeling so angry and upset with himself that he pushed the limits too far at times. That is until he meets the elusive Mistress Mystique, and wow the scenes were off the scale, just absolute perfection. However Laylah also comes back into his life and he finds himself pulled between the two, his perfect mistress and a perfect vanilla partner but which fulfills Levi more? Poor Levi my heart broke for him as he struggled to make sense of everything and the emotions of his situation.
I was more than happy to see Levi get everything he deserved in the end and I am really looking forward to more from this series.
