Review: On My Knees (Stark International Trilogy #2) by J. Kenner

*****5 Stars*****

Shortly after I read Fifty Shades of Grey, I was looking for similar books, and I came across the original Stark Trilogy by J. Kenner. It was amazing and one of the better series in that genre that I'd read.
Now J. Kenner is back in that world with the Stark International Trilogy. On My Knees is the second book in this series. This book and series has everything a contemporary erotic fan would ever want.
First of all, it's sexy as hell. I promise you will be hot and bothered by the time you finish this book. Jackson and Sylvia are as hot as any couple I've ever seen. The sex scenes are plentiful and very well written. To be honest, I don't often get sexually stimulated by most of what I read these days, but this book got to me.
But in addition to the hot sex, there is a very intelligent plot, great characters, and a compelling world, which includes Damien Stark and his wife Nikki. If you have not read the original Stark Trilogy, don't worry about it though. This series will tell you everything you need to know.
On My Knees is the second book in the Stark International Trilogy, the first being Say My Name, and the final book, Under My Skin is due out in August. If you liked Fifty Shades, Crossfire, This Man, or the original Stark Trilogy, then you owe it to yourself to pickup this new series. I promise you won't regret it.
I fell in love with Jackson Steele and Sylvia Brooks and I guarantee you will too. J. Kenner has another hit series under her belt.

Blurb

I never thought I’d lose control, but his desire took me right to the edge.
Powerful, ambitious, and devastatingly sexy, Jackson Steele was unlike any other man I’d ever known. He went after what he wanted with his whole mind, body, and soul—and I was the woman in his sights. One touch and I surrendered, one night together and I was undone.

Jackson and I had secrets, dark pieces of our pasts that threatened to swallow us both. We couldn’t outrun our demons, or the people trying to tear us apart. But in our passion we found salvation, and in each other’s arms we found release.

I was scared to trust Jackson fully, to finally let go. Yet no matter the dangers that lay ahead, I knew I was his—and now that we’ve laid claim, there’s no more holding back.
