Review: King (King #1) by T.M. Frazier

*****5 Stars*****

I totally loved this book so much so I couldn’t put it down.
Doe is a girl with no memories and nobody seems to be looking for her, she doesn’t know her name or where she comes from or even how she came to lose her memory. Living on the streets and with nowhere to go she will do anything it takes to survive. So when one of her street mate crack whores drags her to a party full of bikers with the idea that one may keep her entertained and home her she goes along with it. This is where she meets King . Turns out though it’s Kings welcome home from prison party and along with his sidekick Preppy both are not bikers but just total criminals. King becomes fascinated with Doe after she walks in on him screwing another girl but has never been in a relationship or felt this way about anyone due to his tragic upbringing as a child so Doe intrigues him. He initially releases Doe after a short kidnapping but then goes after her and saves her from being raped by a tramp. The story then goes on from there and I don’t want to say too much for fear of major spoilers.
I had never read anything from this author before so didn’t know what to expect but I really loved this story. I really loved Preppy the nerdy, geeky foul mouthed guy the most, he was witty and as potty mouthed as they come despite his fun dress sense of whacky bow ties etc. I felt really sorry for Doe because waking up with no memory of anything made it harder for her to survive but she was a strong character who wasn’t scared to speak her mind.
The Author done a brilliant job and I was glued to this story and can’t wait for Tyrant to come out. A very well deserved 5 stars from me!

Blurb

Homeless. Hungry. Desperate.

Doe has no memories of who she is or where she comes from.

A notorious career criminal just released from prison, King is someone you don’t want to cross unless you’re prepared to pay him back in blood, sweat, pu$$y or a combination of all three.

King’s future hangs in the balance. Doe’s is written in her past. When they come crashing together, they will have to learn that sometimes in order to hold on, you have to first let go.
