Review: Binge (Seven Year Itch #1) by Jennifer Foor

*****4.5 Stars*****

Well, strap yourselves in because this one is emotional!
Aria and Flynn have been married for seven years. They married very young due to an unplanned pregnancy and seven years on they have a daughter they both adore but their marriage has fallen into disrepair. The problems in their marriage are many and their relationship had disintegrated into constant arguments in which they spew vile and hurtful things to each other. Things look so bleak for this pair that you do wonder how it will be possible to fix it or if they even should.
I became very emotionally involved in this book pretty early on, it's written in a way that it's difficult not to. The emotions and thoughts expressed by the characters are heart breaking at times. It's a short read but it doesn't feel particularly short whilst you're reading it because it is such an emotional read, it truly does feel like you're right there with them, experiencing all those feelings.
These characters are flawed, quite deeply in some respects, so don't be expecting Mr. and Mrs. Perfect. Admittedly I'm usually very much a hearts and flowers kind of girl, I usually will go for super romantic stories that make you swoon with the sweetness, but I was totally fascinated with this story. It is just so real! I think most people can relate to some of the emotions or issues in this story, I'd say most people have probably been there themselves at some point. Because these are such relatable characters and because actually, it was quite refreshing to read a story where it's not all unicorns and rainbows, I definitely recommend it. I think a lot of people will be able to take something from this story, and possibly even learn something from it.
I think Jennifer Foor did a brilliant job with writing the content of this book and she really brought Flynn and Aria to life on the pages. Indeed in some parts of it got so intense that I felt like I should stop listening in to these people's problems, that's how real the story became. I will definitely be reading book two, I'm looking forward to more.

Flynn & Aria Roberts have had plenty of ups and downs during their seven year marriage. Everyone warned them not to wed so young - that they'd be missing out on the key years when people grow from young adults to mature individuals.

The only thing holding them together now is their love for each other, and even that is becoming questionable. To save the marriage, and the family they've already started, Flynn and Aria come up with an unconventional solution to help them find what's missing in their relationship.

The only problem is doing so involves rediscovering themselves completely, even if it requires them to be unfaithful. Can a marriage survive when vows are broken, or will chance encounters prove they've been missing out all-along?
