Aurora Rose Reynolds does it again! With her tried and tested formula of seriously hot, bossy alpha males, likeable heroines, a dash of humour and a dose of drama, she's given us another un-put-downable book. I don't know what it is about this woman's books but every time I start one I'm hooked from the beginning and literally cannot put them down until the end....
Assumption is Kenton's story who we know from the Until series as being the cousin of Asher, Trevor, Cash and Nico. We saw a bit more from him in Until Nico as Nico went to work with him. If you've read the Until series you will have experienced the hotness of the alpha males in the Mayson family and Kenton is no different, and does not disappoint.
Autumn, a stripper from Vegas, has to go to stay with Kenton after she is witness to a multiple murder by a mafia hired hitman. Her life in danger as being the only living witness to the crime, her friend and colleague Link arranges for her to go to stay with Kenton (an old friend of his) for a while until such a time as she is no longer in danger. Now, do not make any Assumptioms about Autumn, she is not what you'd expect a Vegas stripper to be. She is a really likeable character, she is a damsel in distress but she is by no means weak. If anything she's quite feisty!
As with all of Aurora's books I absolutely adored this story, every time I finish one of her books I immediately need more! I'm going straight onto book two of the Underground Kings series to satisfy this craving for some alpha male hottness that Aurora always stirs up.
