You may recall back in March how excited I was that Kristen Ashley was venturing into BDSM and that her new series would feature male subs! Well she's taken us back to the Honey Club again in The Farthest Edge and the ride was just as exciting and enjoyable as the first go around.
Branch lives off the grid. He sometimes does security for The Bee's Honey and he plays there as well. He is mysterious and a loner, living for revenge. He seeks out Dommes to help him forget the past, but he has yet to find one who pushes him as far as he needs. When it is suggested Evangeline may be everything he is looking for, he is intrigued and offers her a proposition she cannot refuse.
Evangeline is out of the game. After a scene that went wrong she left the lifestyle and separated herself from everyone in her life she cared about. When she gets Branch's proposition of no limits and no strings, she can't help being intrigued by the secretive man. It's too tempting to resist and soon she finds herself slowly trying to push his limits and take him to heights he has never known before.
I absolutely adored Branch. I am always a sucker for a tortured hero and Branch checked all of my boxes. Add in Evangeline who was also tortured in her own way and this became a wonderfully compelling and emotional read. If you love BDSM, or Kristen Ashley, or some combination of the both, I highly recommend this.
