Review: Tyrant (King #2) by T.M. Frazier

*****5 Stars*****

This is book 2 in T.M. Frazier’s King series and I must say this series is now in my top 5 of the year so far. It blew me away.
I have (with patience) been waiting on this instalment as book 1 left us on a major cliff hanger and it didn’t disappoint. This is the continuation of King and Doe’s story and picks up where it was left on book 1. I’m not going to recap the whole story as I fear it will spoil it for those who haven’t yet read King (book 1). The twists and turns this book takes would give you whiplash as lots of secrets are spilled and new revelations come to light. Doe is a stronger character now than when she was in the beginning, probably due to the fact that she starts remembering her life before she lost her memory and life is teaching her to go with your instincts and aim for what you believe in. King is his usual bad boy self and will do anything to protect what belongs to him. Trust me when I say you won’t see it coming and may throw accusations elsewhere so please don’t try and guess where the plot goes like me as I ended up gasping out loud and had a hard time accepting I was wrong lol. The author has done an exceptional job with these books and I highly recommend you just pick them up and read them.
Bring on Bear's story because I have a feeling it's going to be messy and I so need to know what's in his mind!

Synopsis

I. Remember. Everything.

Only now I wish I didn't.

When the fog is sucked away from my mind like smoke through a vacuum, the truth that has been beyond my reach for months finally reveals itself.

But the relief I thought I would feel never comes, and I'm more afraid now than I was the morning I woke up handcuffed in King's bed.

Because with the truth comes dark secrets I was never meant to know.

I will put the lives of those I love most at risk if I let on that my memory has returned, or if I seek help from the heavily tattooed felon who owns me body and soul.

I don't know if I'm strong enough to resist the magnetic pull toward King that grows stronger every day.

He's already saved me in more ways than one. Now it's my turn to do whatever it takes to save him.

Even if that means marrying someone else...
