Review: The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely

****4.5 STARS****

Lauren Blakely has only gone and done it again. She's given us another funny, sexy, hot, little read. They say quality is better than quantity, but I say why not have both, because despite Lauren producing a large quanity of books, the quality never seems to wane.

What I have always found with Lauren's books is that the characters from previous books have appeared in someway in her future books and sadly I have got to the stage where I can't recall who appeared before and when, but despite the characters not being hugely memorable for me, this doesn't deter from the fact that I simply just enjoy Lauren's books. I have found they're a great filler for when you have no idea what else to read and I don't mean that as a last resort kind of thing, I mean that as a 'I'm pretty much guaranteed to love the stories' kind of thing.

Now getting back to this particular book. We have your typical girl asks guy to become her baby daddy, as she desperately wants a baby and my first thought was, what sets this book apart from all those with a similar plot line? And my only answer to that is the fact that Lauren's writing style is so unique that it didn't feel in any way like I was reading a story that I've read many times and that ladies and gentlemen is why I totally recommend this book.

There are three little words most guys don’t want to hear on the first date. Not those…I mean these… “knock me up.”

This single gal has had enough of the games, the BS and the endless chase. I know what I want most, and it’s not true love. It’s a bun in the oven, and I’m not afraid to hit up my sex-on-a-stick co-worker to do the job. Ryder is gorgeous, witty and charming — and he’s also a notorious commitment-phobe. That makes him the perfect candidate to make a deposit in the bank of me.

I won’t fall for him, he won’t fall for me, and there’s no way baby will make three.
Right?

There are four words every guy wants to hear on the first date — “your place or mine?”

When my hot-as-sin co-worker makes me a no-strings-attached offer that involves her place, my place, any place — as well as any position — I can’t refuse. Besides, I've got my own reasons to take her up on her deal even with her one BIG condition.

There’s no way I’ll want more from one woman than any position, any where, any night? Except . . . what if I do?

Note: Be prepared to swoon and fan yourself from the heat! This full-length standalone contains lots of hot baby-making s-e-x, happy tears, naughty jokes and a hot, swoonworthy hero you will fall madly in love with.
