Aaaaargh it's Zane's story!! I almost couldn't handle the wait for this book! Zane had piqued my interest in the first two books as the bitter guy who didn't trust women. The man of few words who when he did speak it was evident that a woman had certainly done a number on him, so jaded was he concerning relationships. I was desperate to know what had happened to him.
Have no fear, we are not knept in the dark for long, the first chapter is set nine years previous and we meet Zane's childhood sweetheart Evie. Fast-forward nine years into present day and whilst out on MC business Zane lays eyes on Evie, for the first time in those long nine years. All those feelings come rushing back along with heartbreak and betrayal. Zane will do anything to get her back, only the path is not clear. Evie is now dating Viper, the president of the Black Jacks MC, the Sinner's biggest rival.
With every book this series gets better and better, I urge my fellow MC lovers to read this series, it doesn't get nearly the recognition that it should. It is an overdone genre, there's a lot of mediocrity out there with everyone jumping on the MC trend but this series is one of the best there is. It's up there with Bella Jewel's, Madeline Sheehan's and Joanna Wylde's and is definitely the cream of the crop of the MC genre.
I'm so looking forward to the next book in this series, there's a few unanswered questions I need laying to rest, I'm desperate to know the fate of a certain character (avoiding spoilers!) It's going to be a long ass wait for book four.
To sum up, if you haven't read this series yet, why? Shame on you! Read it now! If you are following this series and have been waiting on Zane's book, then clear your schedule, it definitely delivers!
