Wow what a fantastic read this book is, it is honestly like watching an action movie. I honestly couldn't put this book down. It is fast paced and just as the characters are, the story is moving all the time. The characters are fantastic too, I am seriously in love with Marc even if he is rough, rude and aggressive.
Lily is a trafficker and has a plan that she is days away from bringing to it's conclusion and avenging the death of her sister at the hands of a Russian Bratva, all she has to do is stick to the plan and get a shipment of diamonds across Africa and deliver them to the man who is her target. Only things don't go to plan and after she gives in to the attraction she has been harbouring for the ruthless mercenary who acquired the diamonds, Marcelle De Sant, even more so. Marc is ready for a break following his latest mission and is dreaming of exotic beaches and hot women until he is double crossed, or so he believes, by the hot trafficker that has been catching his eye.
The interaction between Lily and Marc is fierce, hot, passionate, violent and hilarious as insults and punches make way for hot aggressive passion between the two after their plans are literally blown up and they start the journey across Africa in a bid to outdo the Bratva they are both set on seeking revenge on. There is gun fights, explosions, car chases, hot, hot aggressive sex and much more along the way as this book seriously has everything. The pair eventually encounter Kingsley Law a fellow mercenary of Marc's who agrees to help them with their revised plans. Kingsley is a hoot, a debonair Brit with a deadly side and a serious flirt who has his finger on the pulse and helps keep Lily and Marc one step ahead. But is Marc going to be able to let Lily fulfil her plan on her own?
Just as they begin to acknowledge the feelings that have developed between them, Lily and Marc's adventure comes to an end and you are left hoping that these two are ready to hang up their guns and make a life together. However as with all best laid plans things don't go as you expect and we are left waiting for the next book to see if Lily gets her hands on Marc again and wanting to strangle him right along with her.
