Review: Loyalty and Lies (Chastity Falls, #1) by L.A. Cotton

*****5 Stars*****

Right from the very beginning we know that Savanah or Ana as she likes to be called, was running from her secrets. She had moved 3,000 miles to a small private college, Chastity Falls Academy, hoping to blend in and escape her pain.
Ana and Jackson had a few classes together, it wasn't long before Jackson asked Ana for coffee. As she was trying to move on from her past and try to heal, she reluctantly agreed. It wasn't long before she noticed that Jackson was hiding something himself, but he asked her not to ask him any questions.
Ana's roommate Elena was just lovely. She could see that Ana was struggling but instead of pushing her for answers, she was there to support her, and drag her off to parties of course.
What a brilliant start to a series, it was packed with mystery and I couldn't wait to find out what Ana was running from and what Jackson was hiding.
The book is very well written and I couldn't put it down, I read it in one day, which very rarely happens for me. It's written solely in Anna's POV.
I'm looking forward to the next book in the series because I NEED to know what happens next!!

Blurb:

Eighteen-year-old Savanah Parry just moved three thousand miles across state to escape. The memories…the whispers…the pain.
Chastity Falls Academy is supposed to be her fresh start; her salvation. And when Ana meets mysterious Jackson, she begins to think it is. She hasn’t smiled in almost sixteen months; not since the night her life changed forever, and despite her guilt…her loyalty, Ana can’t deny that Jackson is breathing life back into her. With Jackson by her side, Ana wants to believe she can heal and move on. But she isn’t the only one living a lie, and the small private Academy has secrets of its own. All is not what it seems, and Ana is about to find herself in a tangled web of lies; fighting for survival, again.
Loyalties will be tested, lies will be told. Welcome to Chastity Falls.
