Review: The Wright Boss by K.A. Linde

****4 STARS****

Landon Wright is one of 3 brothers. Married to a she devil who has lied and manipulated him and out of pro golf through a back injury could life be any worse right now? Landon has decided enough is enough and wants a divorce from his wife but she's not going to make it easy for him at all. Landon also has an attraction to his ex girlfriend Emery's best friend Heidi, Emery who also happens to be his brother Jensens girlfriend, Confused yet? Whilst waiting on his wife signing divorce papers Landon moves back home and takes up a job within the family construction business. His role happens to be heading up the engineering dept where he learns he is Heidi's boss. The company also has a no internal relationship clause meaning he shouldn't pursue his attraction to Heidi. (Oh dear!)

Heidi has a mutual attraction to Landon and when she learns he is her boss she is annoyed and angry because lets face it he kissed her a couple of months back when he said he was leaving his wife but then went back home with said wife, but what she doesn't realise is that he high tailed it away from his wife within hours of going back to her and learning how manipulative she really was. Can these two straighten it out and give in to the chemistry pulling them towards each other?

I really liked Landon and Heidi's story but admittedly not as much as I liked Jensens. It was well written with enough turns to keep the reader appeased but I would have liked a little more drama thrown into the mix to spice it up, I just felt it was missing that little something. I totally loved the chemistry Landon and Heidi had towards each other, it was magnetic and unavoidable to the point they could have set each other on fire just by looking at one another. Heidi is smart and intelligent and can hold her own but she has some issues within her past that she is struggling to sort out that I thought she was being a bit over dramatic on. Landon is total book boyfriend material, always trying to please everyone around him and loves those close to him fiercely. I do think though that he wore his heart on his sleeve a little to obvious at times so he could be quite predictable.

The side characters all played their part and had enough of a part that all of them could have their own stories told. I am especially looking forward to find out what skeletons Austin Wright has in his closet to warrant the way he is because I have a feeling there is something big going on with him. Overall if you love a good series where there is 3 hot brothers each with their own story then this is a series you don't want to miss.

A new stand alone office romance from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde...

I’ve always had one rule:

Don’t mix business and pleasure.

But then Landon Wright comes home to his family’s construction company with a broken back and a beaten heart and ends up as my new sexy boss. As the office gets heated, I’m thinking about throwing the rulebook out the window.

If only there weren’t a million reasons this could never work.

We may have shared a single perfect kiss, but I can’t let our intense connection cloud my judgment. Not with everything I’ve worked for on the line.

Dating your boss is so very, very wrong…even if he feels so Wright.
