Review: Nemesis (NSC Industries#15) by D.H. Sidebottom

*****5 Stars*****

It's with great sadness, and a pinch of nostalgia, that I write this review. As the last book in this epic series, it feels as if we're saying goodbye to family.

True to form, DH Sidebottom has created yet another book that leaves your heart beating erratically. Not only because it is packed with her own brand of action but because she has so beautifully memorialised the characters that have come before Katie.

I can't say much about the story, other than to say that it's beautifully, soulfully written and it brings forth an array of emotions, both high and low, light and dark, that will linger long after the book is finished.

If you've stumbled across this review and aren't familiar with this series, you've been missing out!

Congratulations to DH Sidebottom on yet another triumph.

The final instalment of the Heart of Stone/NSC series.

Katie Fox has lost everything; her husband, her brother, and now her parents. Loneliness has crept in, numbing the blood that flows into her heart, leaving her even more cold and ruthless. She’s tough, merciless, and carries every bit of Mason and Ava’s thirst for violence in her soul.
She has been searching for the man that coldly killed her husband with a single bullet. And now she has a name, Thelma and Louise are ready to party. Yet, Katie has a tough decision to make. It’s time to make or break, stay or leave.
Making the right choice is sometimes the hardest one, but she knows that it’s time to lay her parents’ legacy to rest.

It’s time to say goodbye to the gang. And by God, it will be explosive.
