Review: The Gravity Of Us (Elements #4) by Brittainy C Cherry

*****5 Stars*****

I am in love with this book. I always enjoy reading this authors books and expect to be a sobbing mess by the end but this one was on a different level of emotion and is full of so many feels that the tears did come yet they were not a sobfest, more a sneaky few running down your cheeks accompanied by a warm fuzzy feeling.

The Gravity Of Us is by far my favourite of this series and one I will remember for a long time, yet it is a simple but complicated love story without all the tragic drama. Lucy and Graham are wonderful characters that you want to find a happy ending, preferably together but you are never sure if that is how things will go.

I love Lucy she is a quirky girl, a weirdo hippie to quote Graham, that loves freely and openly. I loved how she always put everyone first and went out of her way to help anyway she can. Graham I was unsure of at first with his abrupt nature but he definitely grew on me along the way. I loved everything about their story together and the ending was perfect.

A beautiful end to this series that I am sad to see end but I’m excited to see what the author has in store for us next as I love her writing.

Graham Russell and I weren’t made for one another.

I was driven by emotion; he was apathetic. I dreamed while he lived in nightmares. I cried when he had no tears to shed.

Despite his frozen heart and my readiness to run, we sometimes shared seconds. Seconds when our eyes locked and we saw each other’s secrets. Seconds when his lips tasted my fears, and I breathed in his pains. Seconds when we both imagined what it would be like to love one another.

Those seconds left us floating, but when reality knocked us sideways, gravity forced us to descend.

Graham Russell wasn’t a man who knew how to love, and I wasn’t a woman who knew how to either. Yet if I had the chance to fall again, I’d fall with him forever.

Even if we were destined to crash against solid ground.
