REVIEW: Lost In Between by K.L. Kreig

*****5 Stars*****

5 TWISTED STARS

Willow works 2 jobs to keep payments and expenses up for someone to care for her mother. Narrating audio books is one job but the other is one where most woman won't dare to go - High class escorting services with the elusive company Dolce Vita. It's high paid and paying the bills which is what Willow needs. Willow doesn't offer any personal services with clients its on an appearance contract only. That is until Shaw comes along and asks Willows Boss for her services for 3 months, so a meeting is set up and that's when it's realised that Shaw was the cocky and extremely good looking male that rear ended Willow's car at a stop light a few days earlier. Willow isn't sure she should take the job as it means putting her real name out there and with Shaw being the Mayors son she realises that people may dig up her past which she isn't ready to share. However when he says just name your price, because lets face it everyone has a price, Willow manages to come away with a contracted agreement worth a cool $250k which will keep a carer looking after her mum for years to come. Shaw is attracted to Willow instantly but he is initially doing this as his father is up for re election and he needs to keep the spotlight off his siblings who can't seem to stop messing up. Willow and Shaw don't take long to become so attracted to one another that the inevitable happens but can it really work beyond the contract, especially when someone from Willows past unexpectedly turns up and throws a spanner in the works?

I don't think anything I have to say is going to give this book enough justice but I Love Willow and Shaw end of !!! Willow is a confident, gorgeous and charming woman who will fight to the end for the people she loves. Shaw is a dirty talking and super alpha hot man who will fiercely protect his family and those he cares about.

I didn't ever think K.L. Kreig could top her last book Black Swan Affair but OMG I need book 2 in this duo as much as I need air to breathe like as in right now! It's brilliantly written with more than enough enticement to stop you getting bored. The first chapter is a tiny bit slow with the build up but then it just takes off and you will want to turn those pages faster than a jet plane. Warning this book has a huge twist in it that you will never in a million years see it coming. Just when you think things are working out it grabs you quickly out of nowhere sucker punching you right in the gut. So yes a bit of a cliffhanger and a yearning for more will be the result after reading but I can tell you now it was so worth it and more.

We all have one.

A price.

That magic number that will get us to agree to do anything, be anything.

Don’t sit on your gold-plated high horse and say you don’t because you do. Everyone does. Each of us has something we covet enough that we’d sell ourselves to have it.

What’s my tipping point, you ask? Apparently a cool quarter mil will do the trick.

What does one do for 250 large, you wonder? Anything the infamous, gorgeous playboy of Seattle wants. For the next four months I’ll be Shaw Mercer’s arm candy, his beck and call girl, his faux girlfriend. I’ll be his to command, mold, push and pull in any direction he sees fit.

I’ll fight falling into bed with him. I’ll fight falling in love with him even harder. I’ll fail at both. And when my past and present collide in the most unexpected of ways, I’ll learn that while one man’s love for me has never died, the only man’s love I really want will never be mine.

*If dirty-talking, dominant alphas are not your thing, move along. Mature, 18+ only. Book 1 in a 2-part duet.
