What do you do when your world falls apart and around each corner is one new disaster added to a growing list of disasters? If you're Fin Hayes, you go back home, even if home is the last place you ever wanted to revisit. After all, no one wants to relieve bad memories, and when you return home, you're bound to run into ancient history better left in the past. Which is exactly what happens when Rory strolls right back into her life.
Rory was Fin's first love and the man she lost her virginity to in high school. He is even hotter now than he was with all his sexy tattoos and charming personality that could probably talk a saint out of their clothes. Even worse - he seems to have no idea who she is. Fin isn't going to let that matter. She'll use an alias and have a hot fling with this sexy hot Scot. What better way to get over everything going wrong in her life than getting under someone like Rory? She'll be sure to keep things purely physically and protect her heart this go around. Only problem is Rory seems determined to turn this into something more than a simple roll in the sheets.
I enjoyed One Hot Scot tremendously. This is my first book by Donna Alam and I'm sure it won't be my last. Fin is going through tons if turmoil because of losing her husband, job and legal issues, but was such a fun and quirky character. Rory was so charming and sexy. I totally got why Fin fell for him more than once.I'm always a sucker for stories shout women reclaiming their lives after things don't go to plan. This was a great addition to that genre.

Fin Hayes has ninety-nine problems. Quite literally.
She's lost her husband, her job, recently avoided jail time, and is back living in the place she's always loathed . . . when problem #100 walks in.
Rory Tremaine is ripped, rich, and handsome, and a blast from the past who seems to have no recollection of Fin. But second time around that's okay, because when she's near his firm ass and tattoos, she's using a fake name anyway.
At least she won't be leaving her virginity behind this time. Instead, she might just risk losing her heart.
