Review: Pretty Stolen Dolls by Ker Dukey & K. Webster

*****5 Stars*****

After reading this I'm left wondering if I'm right in the head but one thing I do know is that these authors are seriously in need of some rainbows and unicorns to fluff them up lol. I can't even rehash the story because there's quite a few twisted elements to it leaving me wondering if any details would indeed spoil it. One thing I will say is I wanted to stick knitting needles in one characters eyes and flush heads down the toilet. My reactions were all over the place reading this, one minute I was widening my eyes as if I was watching a scary part of a horror movie, then the next minute I was drowning in pity and sadness for Jade and then all my anger would bubble to the surface. The ending killed me and in turn I wanted to seek the authors out and choke them whilst screaming at them give me the next book before I create my own with you as the lead characters and it won't be pretty haha. On a serious note though, do not read this if your squeamish or don't like dark reads. This isn't a pretty story and will offend if your easily offended. It's sick, twisted and horrific in places but it's really really amazingly good.

From Bestselling Authors Ker Dukey & K Webster comes,
Pretty Stolen Dolls.

Benny loves his pretty little dolls.
As long as they do exactly as they're told.
He keeps them perfect by brushing their hair
and gives them pretty dresses to wear.
He likes to toy with them late at night.
One so timid but the other likes to fight.
When his favorite doll runs away...
despite the other doll promising to stay,
his heart becomes broken and he can't help but cry.
He wants her back home or his pretty little doll must die.

Have you ever had to make a decision that haunts you every single day for the rest of your life…the life you stole back?
I have.
I ran for my survival, rocks and twigs cutting into the soles of my feet, my lungs burning and screaming for rest, every muscle tensed and fighting along with me for existence.
I left her.
I ran, ran, ran—from Benny and his lone, pretty little doll—until I couldn’t remember where to find them again.
I’m sorry.
