Review: Dirty (Dive Bar #1) by Kylie Scott

*****4.5 Stars*****

I couldn't wait to get my hands on Dirty by Kylie Scott as I have read all of her Stage Dive series.
Vaughn Hewson has toured with Stage Dive with his former band but now the band is no longer together so he heads home and it's been a while. Being in his home town brings out painful memories that he would rather leave in the past.
Enter Lydia, omg I felt so sorry for Lydia, she found out her fiancé was having an affair on her wedding day!!! so she runs and runs until she breaks into a house, Vaughn's house and that's where he finds her in his bath tub.
Kylie Scott has a knack of developing real women characters that you can't help admire and love. Lydia and Vaughn's relationship was very real as was the chemistry between the two. The friendship that developed in spite of the instant chemistry and flirting was nice and there was plenty of laugh out loud moments too. Will Vaughn and Lydia have the ending they both deserve?

The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that comes with her.

Lydia Green doesn't know whether to burn down the church or sit and cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it's with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later.

Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she'd marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he's all wrong-maybe it's time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.

After all, what's wrong with getting dirty?
