I am always hesitant when reading something from a debut author but I have to say this was an easy read. It's a sweet love story that will suit any contemporary reader. It flows well and has some witty banter in all the right places. The only slight complaint I had with the book was Dories resistance to Nate sometimes felt a little in repeat mode.
Nate and Dorie meet after Nates sister rents out his apartment without him knowing. So when Nate returns home after an accident to recover from the media storm, he finds a half naked woman in his apartment. Dorie initially doesnt have her glasses on so doesn't realise who he is but once she does put them on she realises her teenage baseball player crush is right in front of her eyes. It takes a couple of days for them to hook up but when they do Dorie knows it won't be forever as Nate at some point needs to go back to training. Will Dorie be able to protect her heart and keep her six brothers at bay? Read to find out.
