If you love a book with a hot male and insta chemistry between characters then this book is for you. Ava Cross wins tickets for a few days vacation in a fancy hotel in Montana and to see Mile High, a band she has no desire to see. However her best friend Mandy is desperate to see them so drags Ava on a road trip before work life starts tying them down. Mandy decided to try take a short cut down a dirt road when a storm hits and their car breaks down. Ava goes in search of help and happens to knock on Kellan Boyd's door, a jerk who she never wanted to clap eyes on again after he crashed into her car a few months earlier and insulted her in the process. Ava is determined she won't shelter there for long but the chemistry going on between them is an attraction she can't ignore. Kellan is determined that Ava will end up between his sheets but Ava won't give in until she knows more about him. Secrets are being hidden and all is not as it seems though and how will she react when she finds them all out?
I really liked this book but found it really slow to start with. Ava grated on my nerves at times with her whiny inner comments which came across sometimes as immature. I have only gave 4 stars as I found it a bit repetitive and draggy in places, it may have been lower but Kellan's character made it more enjoyable as he was a down to earth guy even though he was a bit over confident and cocky at times, but hey don't judge that I like pushy guys. Anyway overall it was sweet and enjoyable at the best of times leaving me really satisfied.
