Review: The Stars in the Sky (Giving You #2) by Leslie McAdam

*****4.5 Stars*****

Leslie has once again delivered us a carefree, funny, sexy book with two characters who couldn't be any more different from one another! This book was so different than Leslie's first but no less amazing.
We have the hippy, vegan Democrat and the uber sexy, kinky, Republican cowboy. These characters will make you bust up laughing at the silly arguments and situations they have with one another and positively swoon at their hotter than hot kinkiness. These two clash heads from the get go but the sparks between these two are absolutely undeniable. Marie has accepted a summer internship at Headland's Ranch to work with underprivileged and special needs kids. Will wants nothing to do with the hippy liberal who works on his ranch but he can't deny that she is gorgeous. These two clash heads from the get go but the sparks between these two are absolutely undeniable. They soon learn that despite their many differences, they have a lot of similarities especially when it comes to the bedroom. Although I loved the characters, Marie got on my nerves a lot in the beginning when she kept on trying to test Will's capabilities of accepting her and her beliefs, despite their differing political beliefs.
I loved this book and the message it conveys about not judging a person solely based on a title such as Democrat/Republican. I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us next.

Foul-mouthed, tattooed, vegan Marie Diaz-Austin accepted a summer internship on a ranch north of Santa Barbara to work with underprivileged and special needs kids. Will Thrash, the gorgeous, but conservative rancher, wants nothing to do with left-wing liberals like her.

Although they hate each other’s politics, they cannot deny their immediate and growing attraction to each other. What will give? Their principles or themselves?

A book about our ideologies and our humanity, politics and sex, prejudices and beliefs.
