This is Raide's story, the mysterious man on the run who makes an appearance in a few of Bella Jewel's earlier books. And HO-LY CRAP!!! Raide is hot! Like, seriously HOT! In fact, I think he may even be my favourite Bella Jewel Alpha, and as we all know there has been a lot of competition!
Grace is a bounty hunter who gets assigned to bring Raide in, I loved Grace's character, she was bada$$.
There were some really quite funny moments in this book and some heart breaking ones too. I was so sucked in and invested in this story, I finished it in a few hours, I couldn't put it down, no matter how late it was getting!
I also found more side characters that I want to read more of, Vance in particular, I'd love it if he got a story of his own.
This was one of my favourite of Bella Jewel's books so far, I've probably said that before but she just keeps improving and impressing me all the more! I love how all the characters intersect in the different series and how everyone is somehow connected. Very often when reading a book there's a side character that I take a shine to and wish they had their own book, well Bella always delivers on that.
