Review: Rekindle (Engine 24 #1) by Morgan Nicole

*****5 Stars*****

We meet Emma Grace (M&M) and Rhett who were childhood friends but became separated through circumstances beyond their control.
Emma Grace and her best friend Can move back to Emma's childhood hometown of Alabama for a fresh start, Emma starts her new job as a school teacher, this is where she is reunited with Rhett as there is a fire in the school and Rhett is the fire fighter on duty.
Both Emma & Rhett miss the close bond they both once shared but will this bond be rekindled again?
This book has so many twists and turns but is an amazing read, the one thing that really does stand out with this book is that the characters feel real, like you know them, this is a great debut novel.
It is also quite obvious that the author has poured her heart and soul into her characters and storyline as it shines through the pages.
Rhett is loveable instantly, Emma is funny and sweet, all the secondary characters have an instant pull towards them which you early find in a book so I'm hoping there is going to be books with these as main characters.
Well done Morgan Nicole on a fantastic 5 star read!!!

Rekindle:
verb; to revive something that has been lost

Loss and change are two things that Emma Grace is intimately familiar with. She knows better than anyone that sometimes, life happens. It happens often, and never in the way she expects. When she and her best friend, Cam make the move back to her childhood hometown in Alabama, life decides to happen again.

Rhett McCoy never forgot Emma Grace. Hell, every memory from his childhood included her. But that's what she was now. A memory. At least, that's what he thought until he finds himself standing in front of a very real Emma Grace.

Neither of them expected to see each other again, but when life hands you a second chance at your first love - how far do you go to protect it?
