Starting the book we see Elizabeth finding her mother's cold,bloody lifeless body in her parents bedroom, as she tries to somehow wake her up her father appears holding the knife he used and coldly admits to the murder he says it was "for us".
Fast forward six years and Liza as she now goes by due to the fact she completely changed her identity works in the Romance department of Hardee's Literary Agent House, even though this isn't the department she wants to work in she feels she would be more suited to the Horror/Thriller genre.
One day she goes to meet with the CEO Mr Holder to discuss a possible move to the Horror/Thriller department but instead meets Reid Harder the CEO's nephew.
Instant attraction flows through Liza's veins but Reid also sparks irritation, she soon learns that Reid had just become the head of the Romance department so now her new boss.
As their attraction to each other grows and develops so does the fact that her secret may be revealed as she is receiving threatening emails by someone close by.

I loved this book, its a romantic suspense, it had me on the edge in my seat, couldn't put it down so read it in one sitting, characters were good, plot was really good and flowed right, can't wait for book two.
